The Small Foundation works towards the betterment of medical treatment for children with cancer and of the quality of hospital stays of the children and of their families. The principal objective is to help the children receive the best oncological treatment possible in a human and familiar hospital environment. Recently, it has finalized its most ambitious project: the new day hospital of Infantile Oncological Service in the Vall d’Hebrón Hospital.

Another Small Foundation project is to provide access to the Digital Satelite Channel at the over a hundred TV’s located in the Oncology Section at the Children Hospital Sant Joan de Deu and also at Vall d’Hebron Hospital, in order to provide educational contents to the kids.

The long hours that children have to be in their beds while receiving chemotherapy are endless if they do not have different options for distraction. The access to payable channels, allows them to have a choice, especially in those situations where their weak physical condition does not allow them to enjoy more active options.

The financial support proceeds from our dinner will contribute to help Small Foundation to continue paying the maintenance and fees for this service for the children.
