Cancer patients support
Fundació DKMS

Dinners That Matter and DKMS Foundation have joined forces to cooperate in the fight against cancer on an ongoing basis.

DKMS Foundation works to improve the quality of life of patients suffering from some type of blood cancer such as leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma or myelodysplastic syndromes.

The goal is to help them through the healing process, providing information, giving support during the most difficult times and helping them meet some of their basic needs.

DKMS Foundation has therefore implemented a Patients’ Aid Project in several public hospitals in Barcelona. This Project brings together psychological support activities for patients and their families, as well as side-effect monitoring services for patients who have undergone stem cell transplantation.

We cooperate with:

ICO Badalona – Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol
ICO L’HOspitalet – Hospital Duran i Reynals
Hospital Clínic de Barcelona.
Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau
Hospital Vall d’Hebron

The funds raised at the Dinners That Matter event on June 8th will go to the Patients’ Aid Project
